These terms cover your use of the Chameleon Bracket app. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

Pools and hosts

• Whoever creates a pool hosts it. Hosts set the rules, invite players, enter spreads and scores, and can remove the pool.
• Hosts enter results by hand. Scores and spreads are whatever the host types in. We do not verify them against any official source, and we are not responsible for a host entering something wrong.
• If a host deletes their account, the pool passes to the player who joined first, or is deleted if nobody else is in it.
• Only invite people who would want to be invited. Invitation emails are sent on your behalf.

Behaviour

Pool chat is for the people in your pool. Do not use it to harass, threaten or abuse anyone, to post unlawful or hateful content, to impersonate someone else, or to send spam. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the app or other people's accounts, and do not use it for anything illegal.

Content you post

What you write stays yours. By posting it you give us permission to store and display it to the other people in that pool, which is simply what is needed to run the app. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Team names and tournaments

Team names, school names and tournament names are the property of their respective owners. Chameleon Bracket is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NCAA, any school, or any league.

Availability

The app is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. We will give notice before anything that would lose your pool history, where we reasonably can.

Limits

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including anything wagered or agreed between players outside it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending access

You can stop using the app and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access to an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will update the date above and notify you in the app before it takes effect.
